The PositionWe're looking for a full-time Loan Officer. The primary functions of this job are:· Help startup and expanding cooperative businesses gain access to needed capital.· Grow Shared Capital's loan portfolio while minimizing its risk.· Keep customer satisfaction and retention levels high.· Contribute to our good reputation among lenders, CDFIs, and within the co-op ecosystem.You'll be working with an excellent and supportive lending team, and collaborating with fellow employees, volunteer committee members, community partners, and our board of directors. We encourage and provide professional development. You may be expected to travel occasionally.Considerable time is spent attending to the capital needs of an extremely diverse universe of borrowers, not all of whom speak English as their first language. You'll also get plenty of alone time with spreadsheets and with data that lives in TEA loan management software.
