Court Security Officer, Portland ME
Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract.
Skills
- Certified law enforcement experience
- Proficient in security screening operations
- Ability to enforce laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Perform entrance control and operate security screening equipment
- Roving patrol of court facilities and grounds
- Stationary post assignments for monitoring security equipment
- Provide armed escort services as directed
- Direct traffic and control lights on court facility properties
- Enforce federal law and preserve order in courtrooms
- Prepare various reports and records regarding security incidents
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of certified law enforcement training academy
