Job SummaryResponsible for coordinating Ethical Sourcing tasks related to qualifying, management and monitoring of ethical suppliers. Works directly with the Ethical Sourcing auditing partners to ensure timely audit execution. Consistently monitors scheduling and audit process for improvement opportunities; serves as point of contact to supplier for and UL for audit and technical inquiries.Job Responsibilities• Supports sourcing partners to ensure suppliers requiring Ethical Audits are completed based on the timelines identified in the commercialization process.• Maintains accurate supplier logs and records with concise information and updates as necessary.• Communicates issues which may impact commercialization timelines promptly both systematically and through email and/or other means to key cross functional stakeholders.• Reviews data submitted from suppliers to ensure completeness and accuracy and is able to review documentation for Ethical program gaps.• Occasionally, conducts data analysis and reports assessment to cross functional teams for a read on supplier compliance, in support of internal audits or to support data review upon leadership requests.• Makes actionable recommendations based on trends, expertise/knowledge of social compliance and other external social compliance trends.• Drives program transparency and quality through cross functional communication and data sharing.• Coordinates and liaise with 3rd party audit organizations to ensure audit timelines are aligned to commercialization. To review benefits, please visit jobs.walgreens.com/benefits."An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans".Basic Qualifications• Associate's degree and/or at least 3 years of experience in Retail Merchandising or Consumer Products.• Significant experience in Retail Social Compliance programs or Consumer Products will be considered.• Experience in data base management ( (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).• Experience working with product data or product descriptions in retail, manufacturing, or technical environment.• Experience working in working in a Quality setting or GxP (GLP, GCP, GMP) environments, or other regulated environments will also be consideredPreferred Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field, such as Biology or Chemistry.• Experience in product testing requirements for consumer goods categories such as Grocery, OTC Drugs, Beauty/Personal Care, Hard Goods, Seasonal Goods.• Experience with database software, Product Lifecycle Management, or Laboratory Information Management system.• Experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.• Knowledge of regulatory compliance regarding food safety, product testing, and/or import compliance.• Knowledge of retail processes and consumer packaged goods.
