Job Summary:Responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to drive defined results for a national account. Responsible for leading a broad cross functional team to deliver the milestones, deliverables, and financial/non-financial targets in the Account Strategy. Directly manages the relationship with the Top Tier Account as the lead client contact for the Company.Job Responsibilities:Possesses overall accountability for account/book of business to maximize revenue, increase market share and ensure profitable access by setting the direction and leading the collaborative development, coordination, and implementation of sales strategies that include C suite level visibility and interaction at the customer level.Responsible for financial objectives of segments.Sets direction and strategy for assigned Top Tier Strategic Account and all associated accounts.Leads cross functional team (including Strategy, Insights, Sales, Contracting, Operations, Payer Marketing) to build annual and 3 year Account Strategy to Top Tier Strategic Account and all Accounts associated with that Top Tier Account.Leads cross functional Account Team (including relevant SAMs, Contracting, Central and field representatives, Specialty sales, Payer Marketing, Clinical, Government Relations, etc.) to deliver the milestones, deliverables, and financial/non-financial targets in the Account Strategy.Directly manages the relationship with the Top Tier Strategic Account as the lead client contact for the Company.Represents entire business unit portfolio and ensures profitable access.Collaborates in the negotiation of profitable customer contracts, direct customer initiatives and special projects.Builds and maintains strong collaborative internal relationships across key business units. To review benefits, please visit jobs.walgreens.com/benefits.'An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans'.Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience of direct or indirect (such as marketing, contracting, implementation) client/account management responsibilities OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 11 years of experience of direct or indirect (such as marketing, contracting, implementation) client/account management responsibilities.At least 3 years of experience as a national account manager/executive, managing the entire portfolio across those accounts, in the pharmaceutical industry, managed care/PBM or retail pharmacy industry.Experience applying health plan strategy and economics of the industry.Experience utilizing tools such as tradeoffs of price for volume, network design tradeoffs, etc.Experience developing strategic account plans for one-year and longer term time horizons for complex multi-plan accounts.Experience managing cross functional teams to deliver objectives on time, on budget.Experience managing across the matrix and driving alignment and accountability for delivering results as a team.Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates and deadlines.Basic level skill in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (for example: creating documents, entering and formatting text, page layouts, creating tables, and adding graphics), creating worksheets, entering data, creating basic formulas, working with cells and rows, creating a new presentation from a design template, adding and removing slides, entering and formatting text, adding speaker notes, and viewing presentations).At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the Workplace.At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.Willing to travel up to/at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).#J-18808-LjbffrOriginal job Senior Director - Account Lead posted on GrabJobs ©.
