In this full-time internship position, you will assist project teams on design, restoration, and building envelope projects including:
- Learn how all the project elements form a completed project.
- Take an active role in project document preparation including drawings and reports.
- Participate in on-site condition assessment teams of existing facilities to determine the causes and solutions of deterioration or confirm as-built conditions.
- Visit job sites to observe construction and submit field reports to Project Managers as needed.
- Assist with the structural design of conventional elements of projects.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Junior or Senior level standing (or Master’s student) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Overall GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Other Requirements:
- Strong computer, writing, communication, and team skills are necessary.
- Willingness to travel for field visits.
