Position Summary...What you'll do...We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Access Controls & Governance to lead our team responsible for. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust access controls to ensure adherence to governance policies, procedures, and standards to protect our organization's assets and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards. This position will also serve as the Program leader to spearhead out organizations efforts in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and data by managing and overseeing the user access review process.About Team:At Walmart, we prioritize innovation and data security. Our focus is on mitigating attack risks, securing cloud transformation, and fostering a culture of security and reliability within our teamWhat you'll do:• Lead and manage a global team of associates responsible for managing and maintaining access governance technologies.• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive user access review program that ensures compliance with industry regulations and standards, while also streamlining processes and improving efficiency.• Lead or develop and implement comprehensive access controls over large scale applications• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to access authorizations• Ensure compliance of access controls with industry regulations and standards, such as SOX, HIPAA, and PCI.• Lead, manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls within SailPoint and SAP systems.• Develop and implement reporting and analytics to provide insights into access and usage patterns.• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of access controls and governance processes with existing systems and technologies.• Provide training and guidance to associates on access controls and governance best practices.• Monitor and audit access controls and governance processes to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.• Manage resource allocation for the access controls and governance function.• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with access controls and governance requirements.• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in access controls and governance to ensure the organization remains current and competitive.What you'll bring:• Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards related to user access and data privacy.• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful user access review programs.• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.• Familiarity with SailPoint, SAP GRC and other access governance and administration technologies.About Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
