Position SummaryThe Walmart Energy Transformation strategy aims to decarbonize our operations while capturing emerging new value streams that help catalyze societal decarbonization. Walmart has recently committed to bringing 10 GW of clean energy online by 2030, in addition to our publicly stated goals of 50% clean powered by 2025, 100% clean powered by 2035, and zero emissions in our operations by 2040. We are also building a public EV charging network to provide energy choice and affordability for our customers and local communities. In addition to building new clean energy assets, we aim to increase energy efficiency and reduce emissions across our facilities and transition our fleet to zero emissions vehicles.ResponsibilitiesWalmart Global Tech is hiring a Director of Product - Energy to lead a team responsible for driving the roadmap and execution of software products for the Energy ecosystem. This is a portfolio of products enabling:Differentiated & seamless customer experience, partnerships and GTM strategies for Electric Vehicle chargingOperational Excellence in managing public charging networksSite selection & portfolio optimization strategy for renewable energy generation, storage and distributionSuccess in this role requires high comfort with ambiguity, entrepreneurial mentality, customer obsession, and experience with building end-to-end systems from the ground up.What you'll doShape the strategy and execution of Walmart's Energy platform, and guide the team through ambiguous product decisionsBuild a culture of end-to-end ownership, efficient operating reviews, data driven decision-making & prioritization, and strong partnerships with cross functional stakeholdersWork in-depth with Design, Engineering and Data Science partners to deliver high quality & high impact productsManage a team of product managers, building consistent product practices and processes. Guide the team on effective methods of discovery, product iteration and drive the effective delivery of productsDefine and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.What You'll BringBachelor's degree and 10-12 years of experience in product management5-7 years leading product teams.
