Position Summary...What you'll do...Join the Global Financial Services Compliance team to be a key leader in the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) for the world's largest retailer. The Director, Anti-Money Laundering Investigations ensures Walmart satisfies its Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML regulatory filings. This leader helps build a first-class AML Investigations program mitigating financial risk by leading teams of investigators who manage cases and draft Suspicious Activity Reports. Strong people leadership and AML expertise will be keys to success in this role.What you'll do...• Transforming procedures for AML and Fraud investigations• Creating strategies for the Company's AML Financial Intelligence Unit• Building an inclusive and cohesive team• Strengthening the Company's AML program in ways that will mitigate corporate risk through an effective investigations operationWhat you'll bring...• Proven success building and/or leading portions of an AML Investigations program• Proven-people leader abilities with the ability to lead through change effectively• Subject matter expertise in U.S. AML regulations and risk management practices, consumer fraud and consumer financial protection requirements• Experience spanning across financial industries focused on the consumer/retail customer• Experience with FinTech services and products or with a Money Services Business (MSB)• Background building out tech-enabled processes designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness• Strong relationship building abilities• Background working cross-functionally within a matrix environment• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designationThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
