In this role, you will help to develop practical and effective strategies for our global customers, manager cross-border tax project, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of international tax returns.What you will do...• Share tax planning ideas with team members, contribute to achieving team goals, and assist in making well-informed decisions in complex situations.• Develop work plans for approved projects and manage their design and implementation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including tax, legal, and in-country tax teams.• Manage the execution of international tax planning, while demonstrating a deep understanding of complex tax concepts, discussing moderately complex tax issues with business teams, and staying informed of current tax developments.• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax returns, forms, and audits by assessing tax work papers, rectifying any deficiencies, collaborating with auditors, and ensuring proper financial statement reporting.• Manage and oversee state and federal income tax returns, forms, and reporting for international operational operations by gathering financial data from departments and divisions, and presenting income tax results to senior management.You'll sweep us off our feet if you have...• Strong understanding of international tax concepts and ability to apply knowledge to various situations.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in complex areas.• Experience managing and collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams.• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering strong customer partnerships.• Proficiency in professional tax software.Join Walmart today and help make a positive impact on our global customers.
