As a Process and Operations Manager at Liminal, you will play a critical role in optimizing our data operations and ensuring operational efficiency across various functions. Reporting to the VP of Integrated Insights and Intelligence, you will oversee all data operations, including market research, regulatory and policy research, call transcription, news and event tagging for machine learning model development, and more. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement effective solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual with a passion for process optimization, operational excellence, and AI/machine learning model development. Process Improvement• Analyze Current Processes: Evaluate existing data operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement• Develop and Implement Solutions: Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in data operations• Monitor Performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of process changes on data operationsOperational Management• Daily Operations Oversight: Manage and oversee daily data operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning• Resource Allocation: Coordinate resource allocation to meet operational demands and optimize productivity• Problem Resolution: Address operational issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions in data operationsProject Management• Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for operational initiatives in data management• Execution and Monitoring: Execute projects according to plan, monitor progress, and adjust as needed to stay on track• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignmentAI and Machine Learning Support• Model Development Support: Functionally support the development and refinement of AI and machine learning models through effective data operations• Data Tagging and Preparation: Oversee news and event tagging, call transcription, and other data preparation activities for model trainingTeam Management• Team Leadership: Manage a large team based in the Philippines and Portugal, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration• Training and Development: Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team membersSkills and Qualifications• Experience: Proven experience in process improvement and operational management, preferably in a technology or market intelligence company. Experience with data operations and AI/machine learning model development support is highly desirable• Min years of experience: 5• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Familiarity with data operations and AI/machine learning processes• Should be able to create and manage detailed process maps• Identify process improvement opportunities based on staff interviews• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized. Excellent communication and leadership skills• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, data science, or a related field
