When you work for Univar Solutions, you’ll play an important role in shaping how we deliver more than chemical and ingredients.About the Role:The purpose of Business Systems Manager, Sales Operations role is to consult with Sales senior management to identify and improve business processes, lead an IT team to develop solutions that meet business requirements and improve processes through the use of technology, and be a key business partner of the Commercial Excellence team to identify and achieve opportunities for improvements.Deliverables:• Leads a team in understanding and implementing sales tool and processes based primarily in Salesforce• Consults with the Sales group to identify opportunities for improvement, build supporting business cases, and develop technology solutions• Leads process design activities with the Sales business partners utilizing cross-functional IT resources as needed• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with members of the Sales leadership• Leads system implementations and upgrades to continually improve system performance• Leads base load and project developer activities within their area including resource allocation and integration coordination across process areas• Will have direct supervisory responsibilities.Education/Experience/Training:• Bachelor’s degree; preferably IT/Technology related or demonstrated equivalent experience• 5+ years Business Process Reengineering experience• Salesforce.com experience required, SAP experience a plusUnivar Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
