Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart is hiring for a Senior Analyst, Accounts Receivable on the Health and Wellness team!This role is designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has a keen interest in data analytics. If you have a background in accounts receivable with a focus on data analytics, and you are looking for a challenging position in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this role could be a perfect fit for you. You will play a critical role on our team, working on various reconciliation and data management processes for Walmart and Sam's Club pharmacies and vision centers across the US and Canada.You'll make an impact by:• Performing month-end close activities and providing accurate and timely financial submissions.• Reconciling sub-ledgers to general ledger and performing other related account reconciliations.• Analyzing the impact on financial statements arising from changes in accounting standards and filing records of business documentation accurately.• Managing functional partnership through collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.• Identifying and highlighting deviations from the defined processes and guidelines such as work-flow discrepancies, recording methods and systems flow, reconciliation process and policies.• Driving innovation within our team while ensuring data accuracy and scale.Required knowledge of:• Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators and drivers of creating shareholder value.• U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and/or country-specific reporting frameworks.You'll sweep us off our feet if:• You are an excellent communicator and presenter.• You have a deep domain knowledge around data analytics.• You are passionate about tackling complex challenges.• You are customer-centric and data-driven.• You can influence and build consensus across various stakeholders.• You have a strong ability to craft a credible vision and strategy.• You are comfortable working in complex and matrixed organizations.• You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles.• You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving large-scale projects to completion.Equal Opportunity Employer:Walmart, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer - by choice.
