Position SummaryWhat you'll do Walmart Global Tech is looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist for their Dallas location.
You will be responsible to use cutting-edge machine learning techniques to design and build robust, scalable predictive models and analytics solutions for demand forecasting.
You will be a part of a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers, Product managers, and... Business professionals.

Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do :
Design, build and implement predictive models forecasting demand with high-dimensional datasets and large data.
Collaborate with business on metrics and forecast quality.
Work with development teams to productionize models.
Be a strategic partner to cross functional teams, sharing insights and providing recommendations through effective communication backed by data analysis.
What you'll bring :
Technical expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis and data mining.
Proficient in machine learning using Python, experience with SQL and working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Spark, PySpark).
Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative fields with 3
years of relevant work experience.
Experience of developing machine learning model from initial design to production.

Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
