Position Summary...What you'll do...About the TeamAs a part of Walmart Connect, you'll build industry defining omni-channel Ad Products at scale that enables Walmart suppliers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey.If you are motivated by complex, purposeful challenges, leading an effective Product Management team, this role at WMC Product & Commercialization team could be the fit you've been looking for. We are looking for a Sr Director of Product Management for Sponsored Products Ad Platform to help advance the way we empower brand advertisers with best-in-class ad products and customer ad experiences at scale.You'll lead a cross functional team of highly skilled Product Managers, data scientists, engineers and work with various business teams, marketers and API partners to develop Product Vision aligned with the Organizational strategy and growth , product roadmap and define KPIs to drive overall ads business growth. Retail experience is a plus.• You have strong abilities to craft a credible vision and differentiating strategyYou'll make an impact by:• Leading a team of Product Managers to ideate, plan, and launch Walmart's Sponsored ad products and experiences.• Working with engineering and customer experience teams to advance our ad platforms, and define omni-channel ad experiences that are seamlessly integrated with customer experiences• Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new ad product opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.• Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks• Defining audacious vision and differentiating strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives• Creating Annual Operating Plans and Long Range Plans, including product KPIs, cross-functional headcounts, and devise credible execution plans• Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership• Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs• Hiring and building an effective team by selecting, training, and mentoring other product leaders, and a broader team of 20+ Product ManagersAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
