What you'll do...
Do you want to use your financial skills to support the technologists building some of the buzziest areas within Walmart? The Senior Manager, Finance - Technology works closely with the Director, Technology Finance to support the EVP of Global Technology Platforms (GTP) and his organization. GTP plays a critical role in technology innovation while meeting the company's key mandate to deliver and maintain world-class technology infrastructure and development practices.
About the Position:
This is an execution role requiring not just strong financial acumen, but also exceptional business partnering and cross-functional skills. You will be a key member of the Sam's Tech Finance team partnering with the business to support key investment decisions, as well as leading their core finance activities such as forecasting, analyzing financial results, and planning activities (LRP/AOP).
Responsibilities include:
• Influence & Leadership. Leverage industry knowledge, business acumen, and relationship building skills to influence and drive results.
• Decision Support. Provide robust financial analysis to estimate tech costs for new technology investments, evaluating tradeoffs for new features & functionality.
• Planning & Prioritization. Lead annual operating plan and long-range plan. Partner with stakeholders to ensure efficient and optimal allocation of resources to align business needs with the company's financial goals, as well as implementing guidance from the Walmart Board of Directors on the company's Information Security mandate and resourcing.
• FP&A. Guide business partner to deliver on current year P&L goals. Lead monthly close and forecasting; identify risks and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to Tech leadership during monthly business reviews. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year's supervisory experience.
