The Sr. Manager, Marketplace Strategic Initiatives role will be a key contributor to growing our US Marketplace Business.You'll sweep us off our feet if:• You're an expert at the latest in Performance Marketing Tech or Marketing Measurement.• You are driven to move quickly with a "Test & Learn" mindset.• You can influence and drive results with cross-functional partners.• You partner well with product, data science and engineering.• You have experience in the Marketplace Channel.• You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.You'll make an impact by:• Being the intersection of Business, Marketing, and Tech - Lay the strategic framework and planning to integrate Marketplace across Marketing channels by creating business plans, identifying relevant data, and turning it into new process and technology.• Optimizing Marketplace Across Marketing Channels - Work with Marketing on experimentation to identify new tech, algorithms, or other approaches to drive discoverability of Marketplace items and sellers.• Building Seller Tools to Expand Marketing Potential - Partner with product and engineering to build tools that let sellers run marketing campaigns• Using AI to drive results - Work with data science on algorithms or GenAI tools to measure and optimize seller marketing performance.Preferred Qualifications:• 7-10+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing (Google Adwords, Meta Business Manager, Social Commerce and similar), product management, analytics, or similar role.• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar data querying language.• Ability to think strategically while delivering detailed execution.• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to drive business positive outcomes.• Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
