Senior Product Manager - Marketplace Customer Experience

The Walmart Marketplace has been an engine of growth for Walmart over the past several years. We connect a vibrant global community of Sellers with the more than 150M households who shop with us. Our Product Managers create digital products, services and platforms that help our customers save money and live better. In this role you will own the end-to-end Customer experience roadmap for vertical product areas within the marketplace from idea stage to scaling. This role is a highly strategic with a big business impact that will require the leader in this role to innovate, build 0 to 1 experiences and ensure we make substantial contributions to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous situations, earns trust with partners, and influences effectively across high levels of seniority.You’ll make an impact by…• Creating product strategy – Develop roadmap and end-to-end roadmap for strategic marketplace verticals and advocate for required features on behalf of the customer.• Driving end to end ownership – Manage system solutions for new features throughout the Customer journey by working with cross-functional partners including Engineering and Data Science.• Building – Take features from ideation / exploration with customers to full launch and rollout, including marketing plan and field enablement.• Moving fast – Work in an agile and iterative team environment.Your responsibilities:• Define and own the product vision and roadmap: Set ambitious growth goals, prioritize initiatives, and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.• Deeply understand our customers: Conduct user research, analyze data, and uncover insights to continuously improve the customer experience.• Champion innovation: Experiment with new features, optimize product offerings, and explore strategic partnerships to expand the program's reach and value.• Lead cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and other teams to deliver impactful results.• Measure and evangelize success: Track key metrics, communicate progress, and build enthusiasm for the program's achievements.You’ll sweep us off our feet if…• You use data to drive decisions and outcomes• You obsess over your customers and develop solutions that delight them• You are a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity• You’re comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions• You have experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences• You’re skilled at engaging and communicating to senior executives across multiple domains• You engage at a detailed level across key stakeholders.• You are comfortable dealing with ambiguityThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.Preferred Qualifications...Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Engineering, Masters: Computer Science
