Position Summary...What you'll do...A Senior, Android Software Engineer, drives the development of complex mobile applications, working with product, design, and engineering teams to build robust and scalable solutions. They ensure code quality, performance, and security, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping key architectural decisions.About Team:Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.What you'll do:1. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications with a focus on performance and scalability.2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create intuitive and feature-rich user experiences.3. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to Android development standards.4. Mentor and support junior engineers by providing technical leadership and guidance.5. Work with both US and IDC engineers to provide a seamless Android experience for pharmacy customers.What you'll bring:1.
