I. Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, will be a key leader within our organization, driving the intersection of sales strategy, technology, data science, and change management. This role is crucial in optimizing our sales processes, ensuring that our teams are equipped with the right tools, insights, and strategies to exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to implement effective sales strategies.II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.• Works with Market Area and Group management to establish and implement sales automation and lead strategy for new customers.• Works closely with the Corporate Sales, Marketing, and Data Science teams to develop sales technology strategies and implementation plans and directs the execution of such plans.• Counsels managers as to execution of programs, and when necessary provides direction for modification in work plans or implementation of contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions.• Addresses sales issues pertinent to revenue growth and retention efforts.• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning.• Identify and implement new revenue opportunities for field sellers, including upselling, cross-selling, and new market entry.• Assist with evaluation, selection, and implementation of sales technologies to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.• Ensure seamless integration of sales technologies with other business systems, providing comprehensive support for sales teams.• Stay up-to-date on the latest sales technology trends and make recommendations for adoption to maintain a competitive edge.• Assist with the development of sales analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for decision-making.• Lead change management initiatives to drive the successful adoption of new sales processes, tools, and strategies.• Develop and execute communication and training plans to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions to the sales team.• Monitor the impact of changes and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will not manage anyone directly but will often act as a team leader in many capacities.IV. Education and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.Experience: Ten years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other RequirementsNone required.C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required• Expertise in sales technology (e.g., CRM, automation tools) and data science methodologies.• Proven experience in leading change management initiatives within a sales environment.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.• May require understanding of the link between operations and financial outcomes, and the ability to make sound business decisions based on seasoned financial analysis.V. Occasional trips to Houston to be expected, with overnight travel of up to 10%.The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $120,540 - $183,660.75. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
