From day one, you'll be empowered and equipped to do the best work of your life.This role will support the Marketplace business teams that drive topline, reporting to the Group Director of Marketplace, and ultimately report in through the US eCommerce Finance team.You'll sweep us off our feet if:• You're a storyteller, a visionary, and a strategic thinker• You understand eCommerce | Marketplace Finance• You thrive in high growth, fast pace environments with lots of change• You know dive deep into financial analysis, using data to drive change• You have deep familiarity with financial models• You have a great eye for detail and can articulate points in a simplistic approach• You're organized, disciplined, and can manage competing priorities simultaneously• You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood through visuals• You have high standards and believe in accountability• You're stimulated by challenges and tough problems, and can navigate ambiguous environmentsYou'll make an impact by:• Owning the Growth drivers for the Marketplace finance team, managing a team of 4• Deep analysis of customer and seller behaviors to make better data driven decisions on investments and growth• Support for the Seller acquisition and account management teams, ensuring correct prioritization and focus• Driving the pricing strategy for Marketplace, balancing growth and profitability• Holding the business accountable on post purchase defect reduction, especially fraud• Working together with cross functional teams such as Analytics, Marketing and Site operations to understand a wholistic view of the business needs• Simplify strategic messaging in effective presentations and other communications• Consolidate all forecasting and planning submissions from teams, and create timely narratives for senior leadership• Provide input for business decisions by producing financial models incorporating assumptions, expectations, and known risks; preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations; and participating in business case presentations to senior and executive management.• Overseeing performance management activities by allowing internal customers to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of operations• Developing and executing financial planning processes for assigned areas (for example, Merchandising, Marketing departments) by working with area leaders to develop and communicate budgets and forecasts• Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door PolicyPreferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.• 3+ years' experience in Analytics (SQL knowledge essential), Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area• 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects• 1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgencyBenefits & PerksBeyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
