Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart Global Tech is looking for a talented Principal UX designer to join our Risk technology UX Design team. As a member of our UX team, you'll design digital products that provide exceptional experiences for Walmart associates. The digital tools we create enhance user capabilities, improve efficiency, and assist our colleagues in making data-informed decisions for their teams and the business.If you enjoy solving complex problems, operate with intention, deliver for the user, know how to build trust and strong relationships, and advocate for the success of the entire team - then our Senior UX Designer position could be the ideal fit for you. We build enterprise tools that digitally transform the user experience for Walmart associates in Global Communications and Global Responsibility.What you'll do:Be responsible for the quality, consistency, and accuracy of a project Work cross-functionally with multiple partners in Product, Business, and Engineering, advocating for the value of UX to non-designers Conduct UX discovery, validate use cases, map information architecture and user flows, and present insights to stakeholders Translate use cases into wireframes and prototypes in Figma, applying Walmart's design system Create hand-off documentation for engineersWhat you'll bring:Preferred skills:• Advanced knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals (written, verbal, and visual)• Advanced knowledge of Figma and working knowledge of design systems• Proven research efforts for complex programs.• Desire to move with speed, coupled with a desire to provide quality.• Basic graphic design skills (namely the ability to draw artistically pleasing vector images).• The right amount of executive presence for interacting with Senior Directors and Group Directors on a regular basis.• Strong communication (written, verbal, and visual)• Highly collaborative, curious, and intentional• Relentless problem solverYour Portfolio:• Shows an end-to-end process for solving a problem, explaining how UX insights inform design solutions.• Shows consideration for user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.• Shows examples of UX/UI deliverables.About Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
