Position Summary...What you'll do...The Corporate Real Estate Product and Technology team leads the delivery of both quantitative and qualitative data analysis related to campus, building, and workplace data. Our team, specializing in company property and technology products, takes the lead in providing detailed analysis of our campuses, buildings, and work environments. We're committed to using sophisticated analytical methods and tools, with a particular focus on AI, to solve business challenges related to our real estate and employee engagement.In this role as a senior data analyst, you'll be managing vast amounts of data related to our corporate buildings and workplace. Your task will be to analyze this data and use advanced research methods to help the organization understand what this data means and how the CRE organization can leverage this understanding to drive business decisions.By exploiting the most advanced algorithms and technologies, you'll play an integral role in facilitating data-driven decision-making. Working hand in hand with our data engineers, you'll help design reference models and build AI pipelines in our extensive data ecosystem. The goal is to seamlessly provide valuable insights to our stakeholders and company leadership.Your work will be leveraged to optimize CRE business operations, transform our practices, and revolutionize the management of our corporate real estate and employee engagement.What you'll do:• Translate business needs to data collection and analysis models where you will develop analytical models, validate, and execute models, scale, and optimize analytical models.• Contribute to the development analytical data strategy and requirements.• Analyze data and deliver insights across various real estate and workplace functions using advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms in line with business goals.• Lead planning, definition, gathering, assessment, and synthesis of data into extensive analytical datasets to support project objectives.• Utilize data analytics and advanced data science techniques to identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies in data.• Develop and train machine learning algorithms for current and future applications.• Present actionable recommendations to business partners and influence future strategies based on insights.• Adopt a product-oriented approach to build, scale, and deploy comprehensive data science solutions after successful prototyping.• Participate in data analytics, or in data science project teams as the technical lead.• Foster a customer-centric mindset to deliver high-quality, business-oriented analytic solutions.• Champion innovation in approach, method, practices, process, outcome, or any component of end-to-end problem-solving.• Keep up with latest developments and tools in data science, ML, AI, and corporate real estate operations and occupant experience and share these developments and your perspectives with colleagues.• Collaborate closely with different teams at corporate real estate, data engineering, data science, and leadership within Walmart to develop and deploy ML/AI use cases and solutions for available data.What you'll bring:• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics OR Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of experience OR PHD in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology with 1 year of relevant experience.• Experience in developing ML algorithms, statistical models, and deploying AI-based solutions at scale.• Strong Experience in Python, PySpark, BigQuery, DataProc Cluster and other machine learning frameworks.• Experience with big data analytics - identifying trends, patterns, and outliers in large volumes of data.• Experience in cloud platforms, AI platforms, model deployment, LLMOPs and MLOps.• Experience in real estate, workplace, employee experience, and mobile engagement analytics is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and two years' experience in an analytics or related field.Option 2: Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Option 3: 4 years' experience in an analytics or related field.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
