Walmart Business is a newly created group designed to do just that. This is a multi-billion-dollar opportunity rooted in leveraging existing Walmart assets, building new capabilities, innovating business models, and laying the groundwork for a sizeable new business.The organization is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations who has a passion for Marketo, marketing operations, and email strategy. The individual in this role will be customer-centric and focus on building new and improving existing email marketing processes to reach SMB, enterprise, and institutional buyers.The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of immersive experience in Marketo, have demonstrated experience in email campaign strategy in a B2B market, and have strong execution skills. Experience operationalizing processes, optimizing campaigns, and finding actionable insights from prospect and customer behavior is critical. You'll have the chance to be an intrapreneur and build something truly impactful from the ground up-all while being backed by the strength of Walmart and having access to the assets of the world's largest omnichannel retailerYou'll make an impact by:• Overseeing email-driven marketing strategy• Guide digital and performance marketing strategies specific to B2B customers• Advance the prospect and customer journey• Foster a data-driven, customer-first testing discipline and focus on innovation• Track and review performance to generate recommendations based on learnings, established best practices and competitive landscape• Understand the drivers of customers, sales and GMV that impact the business and partnering with Strategy, Product and Engineering to build business cases• Work with internal and external agencies to design and execute against marketing and commercial initiatives• Work with marketing execution partners on the development of creative assets and a robust creative testing roadmap• Be a customer advocate - champion consistent and seamless user experiences across all assets and channels• Accelerate inbound revenue, inbound pipeline lead generation, and increase brand awareness for our B2B group• Identify KPIs, set goals that align to business objectives, and continuously monitor and measure performance to drive revenue and demand• Bring forth strategic guidance to build a world-class user experience for both existing B2B customers and new prospects• Identify, execute, and analyze high-impact pilotsYou'll sweep us off our feet if...• You have experience in multiple facets of digital marketing• You are passionate about the customer journey• You have a deep interest in building a new business from the ground floor• You have ability to think big and act practically to go from concept to execution• You have an analytical ability to synthesize information, triangulate findings, and create data-driven insights• You have substantial experience in digital campaign design and execution, performance metrics and campaign optimization• You continually seek to understand customer needs, transforming insights into action, and leading breakthrough initiatives• You are attuned to the competitive landscape, particularly in ecommerce, mobile and social• You have experience working in cross-functional teamsAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
