Position Summary...What you'll do...Senior Manager, Procurement-Strategic SourcingPrimary Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain advanced category strategies in conjunction with business unit stakeholders across indirect spend categories focused on renewable energy, regeneration, and equipment.• Develop innovative approaches to strategic sourcing using analytics and processes to assess scenarios, benefits, risks, and the change management impact of each option.• Develop and manage strong relationships with business unit stakeholders and access market intelligence to prioritize opportunities based on facts.• Develop and execute complex supplier negotiation strategies.• Assist in managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement in cost savings, quality, and risk management.• Address escalated questions or concerns related to strategic sourcing policies, processes, and decisions.Soft Skills:• Adaptable to fast-paced, constantly changing environments.• Ability to work as part of a global team and collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries.• Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, renewable energy, sustainability, or regeneration.• Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.• Innovator with a unique approach to problem-solving.• Ability to develop authentic and meaningful relationships with stakeholders.• High performance standards and accountability.• Language Proficiency: English proficiency required at 80+% as most activities will be conducted in EnglishTechnical Requirements:• SAP Ariba• Cirtuo (Preferred)• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)• Knowledge of Interactive Bidding or e-Auctions (Preferred)• Category Strategy Knowledge (Preferred)• SRM and SPM knowledge• Coupa (Preferred)Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, Sustainability, Regeneration, or equivalent experience.• 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, sustainability, regeneration, management consulting, advisory, or professional services role with demonstrated results and increasing level of responsibility.• MBA (Preferred)At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
