Fast-paced innovation is embedded into every aspect of how we work.Position Summary:Product team at CIS seeks an experienced Staff Product Manager with exposure to data stewardship and data governance . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management processes, a keen eye for detail, and experience in managing data governance practices. You should be skilled at engaging and communicating with senior executives across multiple domains, as well as working closely across product management, engineering and business teams. If you are motivated by complex, purposeful challenges, this role at Walmart could be the fit you've been looking for.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement a multiyear vision and enterprise product roadmap that enhances growth, retention, and expansion of CIS landscape .• Evaluate needs, stakeholder expectations, and the competitive landscape to develop products that position CIS as a key player in the marketing organization.• Ensure business needs are met by continuously assessing the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives. This includes consultation with business partners and stakeholders, considering suggestions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and participating in community outreach events.• Partner with a team of world-class engineers and a high performing product marketing teams to bring product vision and strategy to life.• A business-driven approach to Data Governance by collaborating with stakeholders in the Customer Insights and Strategy team to define critical customer data elements, reports, and KPIs.• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards tailored for customer analytics to ensure data integrity and quality.• Lead efforts to ensure data sourced and provisioned meet all required data quality standards, leveraging continuous improvement methodologies.• Define the technical assets critical to customer analytics processes, establish data lineage, and define workflows to manage customer data effectively.• Assess data quality baselines and manage a data quality action plan to address critical issues with customer data elements.What you'll bring:• Bachelor's degree in Information Management , Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.• 8+ years of experience in Product Management• D ata Stewardship and governance exposure in data analytics workspace .• Comprehensive understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and industry best practices, particularly within the retail or consumer industry.• Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra).• Applied experience with cloud data solutions; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.• Applied experience with Agile frameworks is a plus.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.• Retail marketing industry experience or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
