Position Summary...What you'll do...About Walmart BusinessWalmart Business is a new omnichannel experience to save businesses, nonprofits and public sector entities time, money, and hassle so they can focus on their missions. We leverage existing Walmart assets and build new capabilities to better serve organizational buyers. We're bringing together the Every Day Low Prices, assortment, omnichannel capabilities, and store footprint of Walmart with new experiences and functionality tailored to the unique needs of organizations.About the positionWalmart Business is hiring a UX Designer to join our growing Walmart Business Design Team. You'll have the opportunity to shape the User Experience, work closely with the Business, Product and Technology teams, and contribute to an initial product that has the capacity to impact the future of retail. You'll have the chance to be an intrapreneur and build something truly impactful from the ground up-all while being backed by the strength of Walmart and having access to the assets of the world's largest omnichannel retailer. You will report to a Senior Design Manager.This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are expanding our awesome design community in our new, state-of-the-art campus.What You'll Do:• Drive the creation of designs, prototypes, and specifications that advance our team's objectives.• Synthesize ideas from various sources to identify UX needs and opportunities. (including quantitative consumer insights, qualitative customer research, customer satisfaction indices, future trends and forecasts, and competitive landscape).• Participate in efforts to understand and address changes in customer behavior, including usability and brainstorming sessions.• Create UX tools, documentation, and processes, keeping a holistic viewpoint when making project decisions.• Use our existing Design Systems in Figma to craft top-notch UX solutions.• Balance innovation with respect for Walmart's heritage in all designs.• Develop detailed design documentation and specifications, ensuring correct translation of design into final product.• Working cross-functionally and building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.• Contribute to build an inclusive team environment.• Acting with urgency.What You'll Bring:• A strategic mindset and a systems thinking approach• Solid understanding of Design Thinking principles and practices.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Ability to translate design visions into usable, scalable, multi-channel experiences.• Customer-first approach, using user-centered design best practices, and always thinking a step ahead.• Ability to collaborate and prioritize effectively with peers in Business, Product, and Engineering.• Experience with various design tools and expertise in prototyping.• Experience in B2B or similar design and user experience.• Ability to view problems from different perspectives and create well-rounded solutions.• Self-starter mindset, with strong organization skills and a constant desire to improve.Minimum Qualifications:• Degree in UI/UX design, Digital Design, Graphic Design or similar and 2+ years of experience in product design.• Figma experience• Understanding of design systems• Eager to learn, flexible, and a strong communicatorPreferred Qualifications:• Design Research/User Testing experience.• Familiarity with the end-to-end process as a UX designer within the product lifecycle.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
