Job Summary of Warehouse Stocker:We are searching for a Warehouse Stocker with extensive experience to support us with trailer loading up in the warehouse.This role ensures the efficient flow of products through the warehouse by performing various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials.Responsibilities of Warehouse Stocker:• The process of freight movement and loading is streamlined through both manual and mechanized handling methods, utilizing equipment such as single and double pallet jacks, lifts, and pacers in managing the flow of goods• The utilization of cutting-edge warehouse management system terminal, weighing scales and scanning devices facilitates the process of identifying, enumerating, segregating, consolidating and inspecting freight; along with the meticulous documentation and upkeep of all necessary records, reports and forms.• Empty pallets can often create an obstacle in the work area and hamper the flow of freight. This makes proper management of these pallets critical to prevent any delay in operations. Workers should be encouraged to stack pallets neatly and use powered equipment like pallet jacks to manage them.• Keeping track of merchandise during transit to ensure that cold-chain and species requirements are met.• In the plant warehouse, work assignments and priorities are achieved through a collaborative process that involves utilizing company policies, relevant data, and available resources. Warehouse workers liaise with managers, colleagues, and customers, identifying key priorities and expectations, and executing their work duties accordingly. Communication skills are critical to this approach, as workers must report on their progress and related information to their teams regularly.• Effective completion of work assignments and adherence to priorities involve the use of policies, resources, and data. Collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, the individual identifies priorities, timelines, and expectations to meet set goals. Regular progress updates are communicated to ensure deadlines are met. The identification of opportunities for improvement is an integral part of the job, and suggestions of suitable solutions are necessary for optimal productivity. The ability to learn from feedback, adapt to change, and overcome difficulties is an essential aspect of job performance.• Implements relevant methods and plans to adhere to the company's guidelines, regulations, and ethical code of conduct. Showcases an inclusive and welcoming workplace environment by engaging in the Open Door Policy and using these approaches in executing business practices.
