Designer, Interior Architecture & Design

Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity in our Pleasanton office for a Designer in the Interior Architecture & Design Group. 

Designers are responsible for assisting the Project Manager by leading the consultants and internal resources, maintaining project drawings, and processing documentation during construction. You will support and assist in the development of space planning, concepts, creation of program documents, finish plans, specifications, and material selections.

This is great entry level or junior designer position, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to various stages of a project whilst working under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager or Interior Designer. 

• Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Interior Design. Will also consider recent graduates with strong design and Revit skills. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
• Revit skills
• Adobe Suite and Sketch-up skills
• Knowledge of Newforma
• Knowledge of building codes
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents preferred
