Warehouse Associate

Overview:

SEKO Logistics is searching for a Warehouse Associate for our Sacramento operation.
Warehouse Associate will assist our freight forwarding operation to obtain optimum efficiency and maximize profits by performing the following duties. Performs all duties in such a way as to promote customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Staging, loading, and unloading of trailers
• Pick, Pack, and process small parcel orders
• Completing damage reports
• Monitoring and processing returns
• Packaging finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Operating within standard operating procedures
• Operation of Forklift, Order Picker, Pallet Rider, Pallet Jack, and Handtruck
• Cleaning and maintaining work area
• Other Jobs and duties as assigned
• Expected to uphold SEKO’s Core Values.
• Comply with SEKO’s C-TPAT Security Profile

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year related experience
• Previous forklift and order picker experience desired.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and math skills.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate capacity for self-organization; a methodical approach to work.
• Requires physical stamina due to the loading and unloading work; ability to properly execute manual lifting of 50 pounds.
• Exposure to a noisy environment and outside weather conditions.
• Attention to detail
• Safety first approach
• Ability to work overtime depending on business needs
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
