ABOUT THE POSITION:
Contributes to the distribution of products from Columbia Sportswear Company’s Distribution Center by ensuring our product is received, labeled, inventoried, and shipped according to customer expectations and demands. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move product.
Warehouse associate I may be cross-trained and assigned to departments listed below:

Active (Order Picking)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Receive incoming products and apply proper labeling
-
Make boxes according to pick labels, loads on cart and picks to appropriate box
-
Unloads cases from pick cart, verify accuracy of packing. Seal cartons and send to shipping
-
Dispose of empty cartons
-
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accountability for all units.

May operate manual or automated material handling equipment to move product.

Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff, and other departments contributing to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the facility.
YOU HAVE:

Experience working in an industrial setting is preferable, but not required
JOB CONDITIONS:
-
Position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, or stooping. Must be able to move freely throughout the facility and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.

Ability to read, speak and understand English.

Occasionally requires the ability to work in place

Ability to clearly communicate with others
