Job Description:
Candidates MUST have SAP experience. Position is day shift/ 1st shift, weekdays.
1ST SHIFT: Hours are 7am- 3:30pm, Mon-Fri.
SAP experience REQUIRED -They need someone that has expert level experience in SAP so they can jump right in with minimal supervision.
Position Purpose: Accurately receive, stage, store parts.
Principal Accountabilities
The Stores Team Leader provides daily work direction as follows:
1. Physically receive parts (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.)
2. Logically receive/issue parts in SAP. File/maintain packing slips
3. Physically issue and stage parts for work orders
4. Deliver parts to various areas. Ability to drive forklift/cart (training & certification provided)
5. Participate in cycle counts
6. Maintain storeroom housekeeping: sweeping, dusting, etc.
7. Support other stores personnel with day-to-day tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Effectively interact with multiple teams
Ability to use computer programs (i.e., Office suite). SAP experience, a must!
High personal motivation, flexibility, and initiative to learn more skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and order pickers
- Maintain accurate inventory by organizing and stocking products
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect them for damages or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficient in order picking and inventory management systems
