About the role:

Skydio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our rapidly growing team. This individual will be responsible for daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and material fulfillment for our complex hardware products. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring that our inventory management systems are well-maintained and that all orders are fulfilled on time. Daily responsibilities include supporting and maintaining Skydio's inventory management systems, receiving and inventory of parts, leading daily/weekly material fulfillment for the production line, fulfilling orders, and managing inventory to deliver the future of autonomous flying machines.

How you'll make an impact:

  • This individual will be focused on parts management, ensuring every item gets to its destination in a timely manner
  • Lead the reception and recording of new stock and outgoing stock all the way to shipping while ensuring compliance with federal, state, city, carrier's warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
  • Champion warehouse operations operational objectives by contributing warehouse information and recommendations to strategic plans; complete audits; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; setting metrics, resolving problems and identifying trends

What makes you a good fit:

  • Experience with inventory management systems (NetSuite). Demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy and implement improved data input and management methods.
  • Interest and ability for logistics planning and various shipping methods; awareness of dangerous goods and customs requirements.
  • Working knowledge around warehouse and inventory database management systems and inventory control systems.
  • Strong practical knowledge in warehouse design, layout, flow, handling systems, and equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and improve process workflow, resourcing, space requirements and equipment layout.
  • Knowledge of best practices around workflow, warehouse, and shipping layouts.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
  • Solid communication skills and inventory skills.
Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $25-$34/hr*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
