Located along the Virginia border, our new factory in Eden, North Carolina will revitalize a former brewery, transforming it into an innovative, technically advanced pet food manufacturing facility. Nestlé Purina has renovated the existing structure in Rockingham County to produce leading dry dog and cat food brands, including Purina Pro Plan, Purina ONE and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets. As a Warehouse Data Coordinator (Inventory), you will be responsible for ensuring all inventory levels and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) data are accurate. You will play a key role ensuring data integrity, executing problem-solving and root-cause analysis strategies, and managing inventory levels and variance. You will troubleshoot shipment issues with shipping clerks, transportation teams, and warehouse team leaders while being the key contact for EWM issues, monitoring trends for future training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the accuracy of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) data in SAP, serving as a key contact for any EWM issues, inventory process changes and uses
- Maintain inventory quantities and status in warehouse system, adding new products to the data base (product maintenance) as needed.
- Troubleshoot shipment issues with shipping clerks, transportation team, and warehouse team leaders, communicating the status of shipment issues and resolving as soon as possible
- Overall responsibility for accurate inventory, coordinating cycle counts, and conducting regular problem-solving and root-cause analysis for any warehouse system issues
- Responsible for keeping the Extended Warehouse Management system running at peak performance levels by addressing issues
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly variances, and inventory holds, monitoring any trends for future training and continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in a warehouse coordination, logistics, military or related experience in fast – paced environment.
