As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you will work with the Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure the recording, receipt and delivery of goods runs smoothly; you will have top-notch organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- Carry out administrative and clerical functions required by the Warehouse Operations Department including but not limited to written and telephone communication to internal and external contacts; prioritizing incoming mail; relaying messages; coordination of departmental meetings and recording minutes as required; answering incoming telephone calls; and preparing and distributing reports.
- Post Purchase Order (PO) receivers into the Purchasing/Inventory Control (P/IC) system as received.
- Research invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), delivery tickets/invoices, and packing slips that do not have a PO assigned using P/IC system, working closely with Buyers, Receivers, and suppliers.
- Complete, maintain, and print documentation to support the smooth, efficient, and accurate operation of shipping and receiving processes. File paper work and scan packing slips and delivery tickets as a means of electronic record keeping.
- Maintain departmental records and retention system to ensure electronic files, files, records, logs, contracts, Internal Controls, and Warehouse communications are kept confidential and accessible.
- Maintain a thorough, working knowledge of all Casino and Hotel products including but not limited to dry goods, paper products, gaming equipment, chemical supplies, and Food and Beverage specifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Warehouse payroll in the absence of the manager & supervisor by working closely with Payroll and Benefits departments.
- Enter stock requisitions and purchases in computer ordering system as needed.
- Process small package shipping labels and BOL’s for outgoing shipments.
- Assist in receiving, distributing, shipping, and inventory of goods as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments; examine contents of shipments and compare to records such as manifests, invoices, and orders.
- Move shipments into appropriate locations for stocking or back-stock, keeping pathways clear.
- Maintain the receiving docks and warehouses in an organized, clean, and safe condition in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
