The role
We are hiring for a Warehouse Technician in our Edmonton location on a 12-month temporary assignment! The Are you a go-getter with a strong attention for detail? We have an opportunity for you! We are hiring for Warehouse Technicians in our Edmonton location where the successful candidate will maintain the inbound/outbound flow and inventory accuracy of products and supplies. Successful candidates will be working either day shift or evening shift.
These positions start as 12-month contract role with potential to become permanent. We offer excellent benefits, full time hours, and opportunity for career advancement!
A typical day
- Test and process Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)
- Clean and kit tested good CPE
- Schedule and prioritize testing and repair of CPE based on demand
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders and assist with inventory audits.
- Identify and communicate any system, process or testing capacity gaps affecting the redeployment
- Identify and mitigate risks/issues that may arise
- Adhere to accepted technical and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and lot
- Implement or enhance processes through continuous improvement
- Other duties as required
Your skills/experience
- Minimum Grade 12 completion or equivalent level of relevant work experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to provide a clean driver’s abstract upon hire.
- Proficient with Microsoft software (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc…).
- Previous forklift experience considered an asset.
- Previous warehouse experience considered an asset.
- Previous experience using inventory management software (Oracle) considered an asset.
- Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
