Pay rate: $20.00 / Hour

As a detail-oriented Laundry Tunnel System Operator at Westgate Resorts, you will be responsible to operate tunnel and washers’ machines. As a detail-oriented Laundry Tunnel System Operator at Westgate Resorts, you will be responsible to operate tunnel and washers’ machines.

As a Tunnel System Operator, you will:

• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
• Program proper classification for batch, customer number and weight
• Turns valve to fill washer with water and starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles
• Assist with separation soiled linens by classification
• Run production reports as needed
• Clean machine area daily
• Comply with all safety standards
• Mixes dyes and bleaches according to formula, and dyes and bleaches specified articles
• Ensure count sheets are completed on a daily basis

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work in hot, humid conditions near loud, moving machine
• Must be flexible with your schedule and have open availability
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
