The WA.Platform is a fully scalable and customisable solution, featuring over 75 game providers, 6,400+ games, and support for multiple currencies, along with access to over 80 payment methods. WA.Technology enables operators to build their own casino, sportsbook, lottery, fantasy, or poker business precisely as they envision it.
Manage a team which constantly upgrades and maintains an aggregator of not just casinos; but lotteries and virtual too. Upgrades consist of adding content and providers; finding ways to keep the system stable and performant. Very high load system. We work very closely with operations and product team to support our clients.
Provide strong leadership to a growing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring smooth but rapid team growth, and conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
Collaborate with the product team on day-to-day activities, develop a strong relationship with counterparts, and implement a product-oriented Software Development culture.
Collaborate with project coordinators and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software projects. Monitor progress, adjust plans, and address rising risks or issues.
Implement and optimize Agile methodologies, promote DevOps best practices, and drive continuous improvement in development and deployment processes.
Identify training needs, provide coaching, encourage professional development, and nurture a learning culture within the team.
Collaborate with technical architects to align team activities with architectural strategies, facilitate communication between technical leads and the broader engineering team, and address Technical Debt and Platform Evolution initiatives.
Allocate resources effectively based on stakeholder needs and team members' skills. Identify and address potential bottlenecks or resource constraints.
Communicate initiative status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.
Define and track Objective and Key Results (OKRs) with the team, making visible work and metrics.
Address and resolve conflicts within the team constructively, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
Proven leadership in managing software engineering teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience implementing Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevOps practices/tools.
Proficient in project planning, execution, and monitoring, with adaptability to changing requirements and a product-oriented vision.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, conveying technical information effectively.
Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, architects, and technical leads, fostering positive team dynamics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, making decisions under pressure.
