About the role
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our platform. You will lead the front-end development efforts, working closely with our design and back-end teams to deliver a seamless and engaging experience for our users. Your expertise will help us drive the next phase of growth and innovation in the Climate Tech industry.
About your core focus
Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement front-end components using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into interactive and functional user experiences.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve any issues that arise.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the front-end team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
Your Profile
Must
Mindset:
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong problem-solving attitude.
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a significant portion in a senior role.
Experience working in corporate or consulting environments, preferably within tech or SaaS companies.
Proven track record of leading front-end projects and delivering high-quality products.
Skillset:
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js using Typescript
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with pre-processors like SASS or LESS, and CSS-in-JS libraries such as styled-components or similar frameworks.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Passion:
A genuine interest in sustainability, nature, and a deep passion for our mission.
Nice to have
Familiarity with back-end technologies and how front-end integrates with them.
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
Experience in the Climate Tech or environmental industry.
Experience in maintaining a design system and working with UI libraries such as Ant Design or similar
Location: Remote, with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings or team gatherings as needed.
