WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)

Salary £23,400 - £26,000 depending on experience

THE PRACTCAL BITS

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30am and 5:30pm.  

Based in our Wellingborough head office during training, you will have the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week on completion of probation.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Account managing a portfolio of racing clients, looking after their VAT needs and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Developing relationships with clients to better understand their VAT needs.
  • Ensuring all VAT returns are accurate and submitted to HMRC by the given deadline.
  • Processing invoices, VAT registrations and de-registrations.
  • Taking customer queries over the phone, ensuring that queries taken are dealt with or passed on correctly and promptly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in an administrative role within financial services or accountancy setting to include reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • A strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • A strong team ethos. 

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE

  • An interest in horseracing.
  • Knowledge of banking procedures.
