The Human Resources Lead will operate as a hands-on Business Partner and will work closely with assigned line managers and employees to anticipate and support HR-related needs and will serve as a consultant to management on HR-related issues. The HR Lead will maintain an effective level of business literacy about company and business unit financial results, business plans, culture and competition and will be responsible for a variety of HR duties as needed to include, but not limited to HR generalist responsibilities, staffing, employee relations, training and development, compensation, performance management, and organizational health/culture.Roles & ResponsibilitiesSAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE• Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices and complies with the Company's Rules to Live By• Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk• Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectationsQUALITY• Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System• Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvementOPERATIONS• Ensures key business HR processes (e.g., attraction, performance, retention, compensation, retention, DE&I, employee relations, HRMS, training/development, communication, etc) are delivered with high expectations for quality results to the assigned client group• Supports change management activities and applicable Company / function transformation activities and projects• Provides guidance and coaching on HR policies and procedures to line managers and all stakeholders• Negotiates priorities and support requirements with cross-functional teams based on business & resource needs• Participates in the implementation of HR projects within their assigned function, ensuring alignment with key business strategies• In partnership with the HR CoEs, execute and communicate HR initiatives/programs• Responsible for HR data management to ensure accuracy and confidentiality at all times, implements data management audits, updates and clean up exercises when required• Liaises and collaborates with Geozone based HR colleagues for oversight on employee populations based in their respective areas• Analyzes data trends and metrics to assess and/or anticipate business risks and, in partnership with HR CoEs, develops and/or deploys recommended solutions, programs and applicable policies• Know how designated businesses functions work; knowledgeable in current practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization• Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as neededCOMMUNICATION• Effectively communicates with a global, cross-functional and diverse workforce focused on continuous HR service delivery quality and productivity improvement• Stakeholder engagement to develop and sustain productive client and stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization• Maintains effective communication with all key stakeholders both internally and where appropriate externally• Ensures stakeholder understanding and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as Weatherford's policies, procedures, and standardsFINANCIAL• Understands the fundamentals of financial management in a global HR function and what constitutes effective, optimal delivery of cost-effective HR services• Provides guidance, tools and action plans to meet talent, financial, productivity, quality and other HR targetsPEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT• Works closely with line managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention• Supports line managers to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, aligning with the Employee Relations Director where appropriate• Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations for assigned cases, always ensuring fairness• Provides day-to-day performance management advice to line management & employee alike in such areas as but not limited to, coaching, counseling, career development, grievance, and disciplinary actions• Undertakes necessary function training to enhance their skills and experience that supports their personal career developmentVISION & LEADERSHIP• Demonstrates leadership, ethical behavior and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times• Contributes to the Weatherford HR strategy and translates it for the client and country such that a compelling vision and purpose is understoodQualificationsExperience & EducationREQUIRED• Bachelor's Degree required in Business, HR Management or related field• Minimum 8 years of HR experience in a generalist or combination specialist capacity• Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, Employment Engagement and Change ManagementPREFERRED• SHRM/HRCI Certification preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED• Advanced skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other standard office software• Ability to work effectively alone and as a member of a cross-functional project team• Confident decision-maker with the ability to challenge managers when required• Ability to operate effectively through change when situations are complex or when information is ambiguous or contradictory• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and leadership who are located at remote sites• Team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentPREFERRED• Experience using Peoplesoft and/or Oracle applications• HR experience within the Oil & Gas sectorTravel Requirement:• This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%
