Web Developer

Science Systems and Applications Inc (SSAI) is seeking a Web Developer to support exciting work at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Duties will include bringing existing particulate database web interface up to date. Design and implement a web-based interface to a large database to efficiently manage and disseminate data to users and optimize database performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications

B.S. or higher degree in computer science and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience using JavaScript for web development.
Familiarity with OpenSSP
Experience with web design that interfaces to large databases
Experience using LINUX-based platforms.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with standard data set formats (HDF, netCDF)
Familiarity with Python
Work well within a team environment
