Staff Backend Engineer, Developer Platform
Webflow, the leading visual development platform, is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to spearhead the technical vision of their Developer Platform. This role involves collaborating with designers and engineers to build product capabilities that allow third party developers to extend Webflow's functionality.
Skills
- 7+ years of experience shipping features and products in backend systems at scale
- 3+ years developing APIs for external audiences
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and MongoDB
- Ability to debug production issues and understand data design
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to plan and build product capabilities
- Develop APIs for external audience leveraging Node.js and TypeScript
- Solve problems in a highly technical platform empowering developers and customers
- Improve planning, development, and deployment processes
- Tackle complex technical challenges on a collaborative team
