Job Summary
We are looking for a virtual event planner to join the corporate marketing team. The team manages both in-person and virtual events with a focus on exceeding stakeholder expectations and enhancing client experience.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the logistics, technology, and seamless execution of hybrid and virtual events (investor updates, webinars, AGMs and hybrid conferences)
  • Proactively schedule and agree speakers for reoccurring investor updates throughout the year
  • Setup and manage virtual events/webinars in various platforms (ON24, Zoom, CVENT)
  • Manage lists on Salesforce and communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams
  • Build invitations and event microsites
  • Ensure all content and marketing is approved by compliance
  • Host prep sessions/rehearsals, briefing senior stakeholders on best practice
  • Produce live events or recording sessions, quickly solving problems as they arise
  • Develop virtual event feedback surveys and post-event reports
  • Stay up-to-date on virtual event trends and implement changes to improve the quality of Barings’ hybrid and virtual events
  • Provide onsite support for hybrid events where required
  • Provide ad-hoc support for corporate marketing and events colleagues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, in related field - or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of marketing/event planning experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of virtual/hybrid events
  • Experience using ON24 and CVENT preferred
  • Strong project management skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as multitasking and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
