Freebirds World Burrito is seeking a Website Specialist who will play a vital role in optimizing Freebirds’ online presence, driving traffic through search engine optimization, and enhancing user experience with the key goal of driving digital sales.

Responsibilities:
Website Management: Manage and maintain the website, ensuring it remains visually appealing, user-friendly, and up-to-date with relevant content and media elements.

Develop engaging landing pages to support marketing and promotional campaigns, while adhering to SEO best practices to optimize conversion rates.

Proactively work with internal and external teams to create, manage, and maintain content for the website, including product descriptions, selling copy, images, videos, pricing, and promotions.

Work closely with the Creative agency on assets needed for the website, ensuring all campaigns adhere to brand standards.
SEO: Implement and execute search engine optimization strategies to increase the website's organic traffic, improve search rankings, and maximize its visibility on various search engines.

Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords that can enhance the website's organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

Optimize the website's backend elements, including meta tags, headers, and URL structures, to align with SEO best practices and improve its search engine visibility.

Continuously identify new SEO opportunities, techniques, and industry trends to enhance the website's visibility and maintain its competitive edge in search engine results.

Provide regular reports on key SEO metrics, website traffic, and keyword performance to track progress and make data-driven decisions for ongoing optimization efforts.
QA & Beta Testing: Conduct thorough testing of website updates, new features, and promotions to ensure a seamless user experience and identify any potential issues or bugs.

Test website updates and new features to ensure they function correctly and deliver a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.

Verify the functionality and accuracy of promotions, discounts, and special offers on all channels to ensure they are working as intended and contributing to the overall user experience.

Work closely with the website developers to ensure all bugs are fixed in a timely manner.
Requirements:

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in website management and SEO.

Experience with eCommerce or digital product management

Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.

Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and experience in conducting keyword research and SEO copywriting.

Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce engaging content.

Demonstrated experience in creating landing page layouts, visual content, and graphical elements to enhance user engagement.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge for website updates and optimization.

Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
