FAST Introduction

Fast Enterprises is a provider of essential software and services for citizens and government. In 1998, we changed the way government revenue agencies support their business with the introduction of GenTax®. We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Responsibilities:
As a Weekend Night Computer Operator, you will play an integral role in our small yet dedicated team that is responsible for monitoring computer systems, resolving client issues, and providing corporate support tasks at our Headquarters in Centennial, CO.

Your main responsibilities will involve providing ongoing system health and monitoring, promptly escalating any identified issues for resolution, and potentially assisting with after-hours HelpDesk duties. Additional responsibilities can include imaging laptops, preparing marketing equipment, and verifying system patches, which are crucial tasks for streamlined operations.

To excel in this role, attention to detail, the ability to remain focused during long shifts, and strong organizational and time management skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication, effective problem-solving skills, and reliability are also highly valued qualities that we seek in our Weekend Night Computer Operators.   • Executing, monitoring, and troubleshooting data processing jobs
  • Providing ongoing system health and monitoring
  • Escalation and triage of identified issues
  • Acting as customer service representative when required
  • Performing HelpDesk duties
  • Domain account password resets
  • Imaging laptops
  • Preparing marketing equipment
  • System patch verification
Work Schedule:
  • Part Time, 24 hours/per week
  • Saturday 7pm – Sunday 7am and Sunday 7pm – Monday 7am
    • Training will be provided, including some hours during weekdays
    • Potential to fill in on weeknights as needed
    • Current hybrid schedule with both work-from-home and in-office days
Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to remain focused during long shifts
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Data center or computer operations experience
  • Account provisioning at multiple government agencies is required and can involve:
    • Tax filing and status checks
      • Tax filing history up to the past five years
      • Good financial tax standing (e.g. No owed taxes or active bankruptcies)
    • Background checks
    • Fingerprinting
