Main Purpose of the Role

We are looking for interpreters for English into Spanish (LATAM - Peru) to join our existing pool for one of our global clients. The interpreters will provide on-site Simultaneous/Whispered interpreting services.

Location: Santa-Cruz, California, US

Start date: 5th and 6th October 2024 (two-day event)

Duration: 8am-5pm both days

Task type: Simultaneous/Whispered onsite interpreting

Content: Legal & Scientific Publications

Topic: research showcase conference

Required Skills

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience in the specific mode of service (Simultaneous/Whispered)

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience in the requested industry

Must have one of the following criteria:

-        Degree in Interpretation or Translation with a focus on Interpretation OR

-        Being a Member of an Interpretation Associations 

• Perform onsite Simultaneous/Whispered Interpretation for English <> Spanish(LATAM-Peru). 
• Commitment to participate in the program

• A minimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience in consecutive or simultaneous interpretation
• Degree in interpretation, linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
• Native fluency in target language.
