What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Community Lease Up Manager that possesses high energy, expert communication, and relationship-building skills paired with outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to embrace a shared responsibility environment and work with a diverse team while keeping a strong sense of ownership attitude.
What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Community Lease Up Manager?
- Travel Management: Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel extensively for extended durations as per the demands of new development projects.
- Availability: Be available to work weekends, evenings, and be willing to work both on-site and remotely to effectively manage community lease-up operations.
- Lease-Up Strategy: Devise and execute comprehensive lease-up strategies aimed at achieving targeted occupancy levels within defined timelines and within the Tax Credit regulations.
- Pre-Leasing Operations: Take charge of pre-leasing activities, managing waitlists, conducting pre-leasing tours, qualifying applicants and coordinating lease signings. Collaborate closely with the Occupancy team to ensure applications are qualified and units are completed on schedule for occupancy.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain an unwavering focus on resident satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process and resident lifecycle. Address resident concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Reporting: Oversee the leasing and qualification performance of the community. Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to track movement toward leasing and revenue targets.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant Tax Credit requirements, State and Federal laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with the marketing team to craft inventive marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Implement digital marketing strategies, social media initiatives, and community events to attract prospective residents.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A property management designation is a plus. CAM, CAPS, CPM
- Proven work experience as Property Manager for at least 3 years
- Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills
- Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment

What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?
- Air-conditioned office, well-lit and well ventilated. High level of confidentiality (confidential information with regards to financial documents during budget process, in-coming mail, e-mail, telephone calls, vendor contracts and lender/owner information)
- This is a full-time position and may require more than 40 hours to perform duties and may include after hours and weekends
- General office equipment use will include, but not be limited to copier, scanner, fax, computer, tablet
- Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively work in a standard office environment
