Weyerhaeuser is recruiting interns for the summer of 2024to work in our manufacturing center located in Zwolle, LA and gain real time work experience and leadership coaching in our maintenance and/or operational departments. Many of our interns return as full-time employees post-graduation, and a number of our senior leaders started their careers as interns at Weyerhaeuser. • Must be a rising sophomore or higher enrolled in an accredited college or university completing a Bachelor's degree or higher • Strong interest in a career in manufacturing • Must commit to a 2 month internship, June – August 2024 • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills • High level of initiative and motivation • Strong work ethic and personal integrity • Be able and willing to work a flexible schedule (most sites operate 24/7) • Passion for safety • Willingness to work in challenging environments (outdoor temperature) About Wood Products We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
