Weāve found that low ego, a growth mindset, and leaning into action and high impact goes a long way here.As our next Android engineer on Trust & Safety, you should have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience in high growth startups, plus:ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.ā¢ Android expertise in creating fluid, responsive user interfaces. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and, ideally, Jetpack Compose. Adept at reactive programming, preferably familiar with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows. Fluent in MVI or MVVM development.ā¢ Product Instinct: Excel at translating user needs to effective technical solutions.ā¢ Problem Solving: Thrive in ambiguity and tackle challenging problems with creativity and autonomy.ā¢ Team Leadership: Proactively improve the team environment and foster inclusive, supportive team culture.ā¢ Ownership Mindset: Own projects holistically from inception to production and beyond. You are known for shipping high-quality products and features lightning-fast.š°CompensationFor US-based applicants: $185,000/year to $245,000/year + benefits + equityThe salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise.
