Location: Colorado Springs, CO, USA

The Receivables & Finance Analyst is responsible for the handling of daily deposits, broker/agent receivable collections, Epay issues and Direct bill reconciliations. This role will require working in the office which is located in Colorado Springs CO with potential opportunity to work remotely in the future.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

The duties of the Receivables & Financing Analyst, include but not limited to:


  • Apply funds received from all sources to the appropriate insured accounts which includes lockbox, electronic, credit card and check payments.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies before applying the funds. Work with underwriters to correct billing discrepancies.
  • Timely clear balances in unaccounted accounts and clearing/suspense accounts.
  • Process commissions to independent brokers if necessary.
  • Post direct bill carrier commissions.
  • Closely monitor broker/agent receivables and follow up with brokers for collection of overdue receivables. Recommend notice of cancellation when deemed necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate clearly & professionally with brokers/agents and underwriters regarding billings and outstanding receivables.
  • Ability to collaborate with account service and underwriting teams.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
  • Requires attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and proficiency in Excel is a plus.
  • Team player, initiative-taking and dependable
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, challenging work environment
  • Experience with insurance accounting or banking is a plus
